HOW DRY FOGGING MACHINES WORK
Pressure is built up inside of the machine which transforms the disinfectant fluid into a ‘fog’ meaning that you can move it around the room to disinfect your chosen area.
WHERE YOU CAN FOG
Our machine allows you to fog cars, coaches, homes, clothing, or rooms large or small.
Fogging does not in any way replace your normal cleaning routine, but it is a quick way to sanitise an area. As areas can be sanitised so quickly our machine can be used in large buildings with many rooms for example, factories and schools, although you may wish to purchase more than one machine dependent upon your requirements and your risk assessment criteria. You may also wish to purchase more than one machine if they need to be provided for every driver in a fleet for example.
A fogging machine is ideal for sanitising high traffic areas and for use in buildings with many people and points of contact that provide the potential to spread a virus from person to person. Even in a more intimate setting such as a driving school many vehicular parts are a point of contact for a student and fogging allows for all of these to be sanitised including the air inside of the vehicle.
We have provided fogging machines to numerous small and large business, organisations and public bodies including but not limited to –
– Coach companies – Driving Instructors – Offices – Schools – Play Centres – Restaurants – Pubs Hospitals – Care & Nursing Homes – Dental Practices – Factories – Beauticians – Salons.
FOGGING MACHINE STORAGE
The machine should be stored in a place that is cool, dry and clean.
MANUFACTURING AND DELIVERY TIME FRAMES.

FILLING A FOGGING MACHINE
The Dry ULV Wireless Fogging Machine is topped-up with the required level of fogging machine liquid and then following the instructions you gently spray or mist this around the area that you wish to disinfect.
It is considered good practice to cover electrical sockets and smoke alarms whilst the fog is being dispersed.
ELECTROSTATIC DRY FOGGING
Electrostatic dry fogging machines produce a positive electric charge to the fogging solution. The electrostatic charge means that disinfectant is actively attracted to even the most complex of surfaces, allowing for full and complete coverage.
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DRY AND WET FOGGING
Salinise Wireless Dry Fogging machines are for dry fogging only.
Small droplets form a ‘dry’ fog.
Heavier and larger droplets create a wet fog that is similar to a wet mist.
As a company we find that most of our customers are looking to dry fog as the area that they wish to fog will not be wet to touch afterwards.
The particle size is so small when dry fogging that by the time they contact a surface it is already dry.
Dry fogging protects electrical items ensuring that they will not get wet and damaged, whilst still ensuring effective sanitisation due to larger particle spread.
It is a lot more convenient to dry fog indoors and much more effective due to the lack of wind and other weather conditions.
COLD FOGGING LIQUID
The Salinise wireless fogging machine is for cold fogging not thermal fogging.
The main difference between the two techniques is the thick highly visible fog created by a thermal fogger as they use heat to vaporize the fogging solution; it creates a thick cloud of fog that can be grey or white.
Ultra-Low Volume foggers or ‘ULV’ generate a fog of ultra-low volume droplets ideal for tackling pathogens. Cold fogging produces an almost invisible fog.
The thick and highly visible fog is necessary when dealing with harsh and dangerous chemicals as you can see the fog in the air. This is not necessary when using your machine with Salinise fogging fluid due to the active ingredient, HOCI being a natural product that is organic and harmless to humans and animals.
HOW OFTEN TO FOG
Coronavirus can live on surfaces for days, as can other pathogens (at least in a laboratory environment), so it is wise to fog at regular intervals or when the possibility of a new contact has been made or new bacteria are entering the environment.
In low-traffic/low-usage areas you may need to fog very infrequently as the risk of new transmissions is much less due to the infrequencies of people in the area.
WHAT TO FOG WITH
You’ll find the prices on Salinise’s fogging fluid amongst the best out there, so we are convinced that you’ll love the product specifications too. Please do take a look.
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AND FEEDBACK
Feedback from clients around the country has shown consistently high levels of satisfaction with their machine purchase.
Businesses that have stayed open during the pandemic have been able to demonstrate safe working practices and deliver confidence to their customers whilst saving time and fulfilling risk assessment criteria.
“The customer service has been great.” Gareth Jones, Head Teacher at Ysgol Estyn, Hope, North Wales.
“It’s saved us loads of time as far as cleaning large surfaces and hitting areas that maybe we hadn’t thought about as well, so it’s been a god-send for us.” Gaz Evans – Gym Manager and Olympian.
USING PPE WHEN FOGGING
PPE is not required when fogging with Salinise solution (although we do encourage an independent risk assessment). This is not the case with all fluids available for purchase. If you are going to purchase fluid from a different provider then PPE may well be necessary, and we would advise you to check the product details.
NO NEED TO VACATE A ROOM AFTER FOGGING
When using Salinise fogging fluid with your wireless Dry Fogging machine then there is no need to vacate a room whilst fogging because of the active ingredient in Salinise fluid – Hypochlorous Acid or ‘HOCI’ and it being natural, non-irritant and safe for humans and pets. This is not the case with all fluids on the market and as such we would encourage you to follow the product advice on the label.
We would always recommend an independent risk assessment.
